The American Sport Of Footblall

Well, when the topic comes about sports in America. How can we miss out American Football, which is like America’s people’s morning sip of coffee? Even kids spend most of their time watching American Football. Let’s know about what sport really is! American football(known as football in United States ) is played by two teams each of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. Begun from Rugby in United States, American Football was first played on November 6,1869 between Rutgers and Princeton (college teams). Walter Camp is known as “Father of American Football” who made a set of rules for the game. The National Football League (NFL) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) are the most popular football leagues in the United States. And how can we miss Super Bowl? It is among one of the major events in club sports across the world. In American Football, each team is given three timeouts per half, making about six timeouts per team in total game. The team having the control of oval-shaped football tries to advance the field by running or passing the ball, while the team without ball tries to stop their progress and take ball from them. The whole game play consists of series of down (individual plays of short duration) out of which ball is considered dead or not in play. America has many great players like Barry Sanders, Brett Favre, Dan Marino, Deion Sanders for this game.
