Dr. Emilio Ros from the Hospital Clinic in Barcelona, said that a proper diet can delay age related mental decline. In order to achieve this, a person must have a diet rich with antioxidants. The best type of food is nuts and virgin olive.

The average age of participants was 67. S, every person can start with this diet. Dr. Sam Gandy from the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, said that eating less beef, but more fruits, vegetables, fish and chicken, has a positive effect on heart and brain. Because of this, this doctor recommends a Mediterranean diet to his patients. Benefits of olive oil and nuts have been proven in several other studies.
