Elina Svitolina of the Ukraine

Elina Svotolina is a young tennis player from the Ukraine. She was born in 1994 and began playing tennis when she was only five years old. According to her, it was her childhood dream to play tennis and now she is achieving her goals. In an interview she told her fans about her skills and personal life. Here are a few of the questions she was asked and her answers:

  • Do you know French?

I can easily understand all the things and sayings in French, but I am facing difficulty in speaking French. I will learn it shortly.

  • What is the most difficult part of playing tennis?

The most difficult point in playing tennis is to find the way to fight and to beat the opponent. In order to do so, you have to find the weak point of the opposite member of the game.

  • Who are your ideal players? Do you like to play like them?

Serena and Victoria are my most favourite players. They play from the bottom of the heart. I wish to play like them, but it’s true that all the players have their own style and no one can copy it easily.

  • Which one is your most favourite song that you listen to on your iPod?

Well, there are a number of songs that are favourites of mine. Among all, “Stay” by Rihanna is one of my favourite songs.

  • Which one is your most favourite application in your iPhone?

Most of the time, I love to use WhatsApp on my iPhone.

 

On March 6, 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and playing for almost 3 hours, Elina Svitolina beat Eugenie Bouchard of Canada in a very long match that had 3 rain delays.
