Inbee Park has No Problems with Swing Change

Inbee Park decided that her swing isn’t good enough. At that time, she had a major championship to her credit. This was followed by a marriage with her swing coach and her swing. Park decided to make an important change in 2011. Since then, she has become the world No.1 golfer in the world. She has 14 victories in the last 4 years. Last year she married to Gi Hyeob Nam, her swing coach.

Park’s swing was one of the best in the world. However, she wanted to change it. Actually, she wanted to improve it. This is usually for the best players in all sports. Simply said, they always want more. Her swing was improved by 300%. Her coach told her that she will need 3-4 years in order to fully implement her new swing. In 2013, a year when Stacy Lewis watched Inbee Park win 6 times (3 consecutive majors) she never saw her hitting the ball like this.

Lewis said that Park always has been a great golfer. Her putting was incredible, but her ball striking wasn’t. Now, her striking is much better and it has caught up with the putting. This means that Park will probably be an even better player. You could see this in Westchester, where Park hit really well.

Park said that her swing was changed in 2011. Since then, she has worked on it and it has become better and better. Now, she is very comfortable with her swing and she really likes it. We can say that she will continue working on her swing. As a result, she will become an even better golfer.
